ARTIST PROFILE
Growing up in rural Northern Lower Michigan, my reverence for animals and nature shows through in most of my creative work. My passion for art developed alongside my passion for animals.
My personal goal is to help diversify the kinds of characters that get depicted in visual media. I loved watching cartoons as a child (and still do). Seeing characters who looked like or represented something about me, was such a crucial experience growing up and I want to be able to give other people that kind of visual representation in innovative and creative ways.

I raise goats for dairy & pack, train dogs for a myriad of sports, and volunteer with local 4H chapters to help kids who are also interested in these animals work with & train them.

My other hobby is TTRPGs (table top role playing games for the uninitiated). Friends & I roll dice to tell collaborative stories & act out all sorts of scenarios. There's something magical about assuming the role of a made-up person! I spend a lot of time developing characters, environments, weapons, outfits, trinkets and more that are born out of the raw creativity of these sessions. Fantasy & escapism motivate my art.
