Endangered Insect Collection - Jewelry Insert
A jewelry maker in Glen Arbor, Michigan released a collection of work engraved with endangered insects native to Michigan. I was asked to create a tri-fold insert that would be packaged with the cuffs, earrings, or pendants when sold. The insert needed to include information on the 6 insects featured in the collection, the artist herself, Becky Thatcher, her artist statement, where the proceeds will be donated and how to take care of the product. I let the artist's previous collections lead my design choices, and highlighted the illustrations she created by using them softly in the background of the inner pages. I wanted color to the edge on these designs, and the client was willing to pay extra to have the inserts printed on larger paper and cropped to the proper size. You will see crop marks on this design, with a bleed.
Right Brain Brewery - Pig Porter Stickers
A local brewery needed graphic content to promote their annual pig roast as well as stickers to be sold during the event. The color pallet and pig illustration were provided to me from branding years prior. The winning sticker design was actually the first ideation I had, but the other graphics were used in promotion as well.
Grand Rapids Cleaning Company - Print Ads
A cleaning company out of Grand Rapids, Michigan asked me to play with a couple different ideas for a flyer they could distribute to promote their services, with an emphasis on the green products they use.
Baby Shower Announcements
Wanting to give back to a friend, I helped in creating some truly special baby shower announcements that matched the unique color pallet that she had picked out for her daughter. We kept the designs economical by keeping the invites small enough to fit 4-up on a page and intentionally laid out elements so a bleed wasn’t necessary.
