I worked on this short film over the course of two semesters, starting from the ground up with the idea to illustrate one of my favorite fables. I used a professional reading of the story, set up layouts, compositions, and character designs to create my thumbnails which were later refined into my storyboard/animatic. From there I painted the environment, planned the rest of my animation, refined some of the shots, and did some sound design to compliment the reading. This short project quickly became a passion project for me - giving me a goal to work towards every day.
